Pharmacy First - Immediate Help from Pharmacies
Patients can now access direct help for 7 conditions from local pharmacies. This is a new service and the pharmacist may be able to provide medications as part of the service and save you having to visit the GP.
The conditions that the pharmacy can now help with are:

Household Support Fund Grants
Over 18's can apply to Wealden District Council Household Support Fund - Wealden District Council - Wealden District Council but have to meet all three of the following conditions:
- Applicants must be over 18 years old.
- Applicants must be resident within the Wealden District Council Local Authority area.
- Applicants must be getting either Universal Credit (that also includes the Housing Costs element), Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction (or getting a SEMI exemption and would otherwise get Council Tax Reduction)."
Age UK East Sussex can support anyone over the age of 50 with a grant, there is a limited criteria contact the charity directly on;

Age UK East Sussex can also carry out a benefits/welfare check to see if you are entitled to any other support such as being placed on the Priority Services Register with utility companies.
Warm East Sussex – keep warm and well in East Sussex can provide additional support and advice, on getting homes insulated, or help source free/low-cost devices such as draft excluders, covers for letter boxes etc etc.
